We are staying at Shades of Green in June 2015. We are going into HS for shows prior to our check in. Should we go to the hotel first, then get transportation to HS? If so, is the best way to get to HS? Thank you so much.

I LOVE using the Shades of Green bus system because, unlike Disney Transportation, it is predictable and runs every half-hour from the parks. I can time my departure from the hotel or a park without wondering if I will wait 20 minutes on the next bus. However, to make the most of your day, I would suggest not going to Shades of Green before heading to Disney's Hollywood Studios. It sounds like you already have your park tickets and because you're from Florida, you may already have your car, which makes it simply an extra stop on your itinerary for the day.

If indeed you do have your own car, and you already have your tickets, I would drive your car to DHS. After your day, head to Shades of Green to check in. Signage on Disney property is minimal, so follow signs to Magic Kingdom, Magic Kingdom resorts and then the Polynesian resort. Shades of Green is across the street from the Poly.
