    We are staying at the Shades of Green in June on our first trip to Disney with our Grandkids! Can't wait! Considering doing the Pirates & Pals Fireworks which leaves from the Contemporary I believe. What is best transportation from SOG to Contempora

    Hi Christine,

    The Shades of Green Resort (SOG) is located across the street from the Polynesian Resort.  You can walk to the Polynesian from SOG in approximately 10 minutes and then you can get on the monorail which will take you to the Contemporary (3rd stop from the Polynesian). 

    The other option you have is to take the SOG bus to the Ticket and Transportation Center where you will also be able to get on the same monorail system to the Contemporary (4th stop from TTC).

    I hope you do get to experience the Pirates and Pals Fireworks Voyage, you are guaranteed to have a magical time as well as lots of laughs.  I have done this special Pirate voyage a few times now and still look forward to doing it again.  Have a wonderful time!
