I'm pleased to share that Disney is very accommodating of a wide variety of
accessibility needs. Most attraction queues are designed for mobility device users to navigate, so you'll be able to enter the lines just as you would without your mobility device. There are a few that have
dedicated load and unload areas for users of mobility devices, however. In any case, I always find it helpful to chat with the Cast Member at each attraction entrance if I'm unsure of the process.
Parades and fireworks sometimes have areas reserved for mobility device users as well. They are first come-first served, so you'll still need to arrive early to secure your spot. Ask a friendly Cast Member along the parade route or fireworks viewing areas for help in locating the designated spots, if available.
Transportation around Walt Disney World, including to and from Shades of Green, are also accessible and can accommodate your Electric Conveyance Vehicles (ECVs).
If you're concerned about waiting times in queues, I highly recommend looking into purchasing
Lightning Lane Passes. Lightning Lane Multi Pass allows you to prebook return times for up to 3 attractions in advance of your visit. Then, as you scan into them throughout the day, you can keep booking as you go. Lightning Lane Single Pass can also be purchased for some of the most popular attractions, which aren't included in Multi Pass. If your budget allows, Lightning Lane Premier Pass is the way to go. You get one-time access to each attraction and show with a Lightning Lane queue, no return time needed, at the park and day of your choosing, pending availability.
I have one last tip or two for you. Stay hydrated and take frequent breaks, if needed. When I visit with my parents, we'll stop for a snack and water in the shade before entering a queue. This helps conserve their stamina throughout the day. We'll also book a dining reservation during the day for extra rest and air conditioning. Hopefully, you'll have mild temperatures in January, which should make it enjoyable as well.
