Well hello there, Michelle. Welcome to planDisney. I'm so happy to answer your question today!
You have 2 ways to link your
theme park tickets: through the website and the My Disney Experience mobile app. Through the website, simply
visit the linking page, click the "Select" button under "Tickets" (or "Resort Reservation or Vacation Package" if that's what you have booked), input your ID Number, click "Next," and follow the prompts. Through the
My Disney Experience mobile app, click the 3 horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner, scroll down, and click on "Link to Account" under the "Account" heading. Then, click on "Type ID" in the upper right-hand corner, fill out the appropriate information, and follow the prompts.
While any time is a great time to come to the
Walt Disney World Resort, you are coming at a time when a bunch of
very exciting happenings are, well, happening! Firstly, the
Halloween season starts pretty early at the resort and by the end of August, it'll be in full swing. So be sure to see if a
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is going on while you're there. This
specially ticketed event takes place after many Guests have left
Magic Kingdom Park. There are incredible entertainment offerings, specialty snacks, trick-or-treating, unique character meet and greets, and usually lower wait times for attractions.
And then we come to my favorite reason to visit in the fall: the
EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival. This is the original
EPCOT festival and probably my favorite. With this festival, the food is the star. It usually has the most food booths of any of the festivals, which are called Global Marketplaces for this event. And what can I say? I'm a sucker for an original. So be sure to follow along with the
Disney Parks Blog as more announcements should be made soon for this incredible offering. In the meantime,
you can chew on this sneak peek that they gave when they first shared the announcement of this year's festival!
Michelle, enjoy your autumnal visit to the resort. If you have any other questions,
you know where to go!
Say hello to your ghost host,
Matt
