    If I am staying at shades of green my entire vacation can I still purchase a dining plan for myself and family to use while at the park?

    Hiya Lenora!

    Thank you so much for stopping by with your question!  Unfortunately, guests staying at Shades of Green at Walt Disney World Resort are not eligible to purchase the Disney Dining Plan.  If you visit their website, you'll see that there are some inclusive dining packages, but they include dining at Shades of Green, and not at the Walt Disney World Theme Parks.  

    You could also be eligible to fantastic deals via  Military Discount at Select Disney Resort Hotels.  You'd be able to add the Disney Dining Plan on to these reservations in many cases.  

    Many times it comes down to running the numbers and seeing just which would be the better deal for your family.  Shades of Green is a definitely a fantastic location at great rates, so you'd really need to see what food would realistically end up costing you.  I like to use the menus (all available online) to 'order for my family' to get some pretty accurate numbers.  It will certainly give you a good idea of how much money would be spent on food.
