Hello! We are staying at Shades of Green and want to be able to see the fireworks from our hotel. I know you can see them at the Poly (close to SoG),but I didn't know if they were visible from our resort. If not,we'll just watch them from the Poly. Thanks!

    Hi Dana!

Thank you for sending them to the Walt Disney World Moms Panel!

The Shades of Green is a great place to stay for those eligible to stay there.  I have found the food to be relatively inexpensive and good there so keep that in mind.

From the Shades of Green, you really can't see the fireworks show in the Magic Kingdom.  The fireworks are really not that high and the Shades of Green is pretty far away and there are a lot of trees and the Polynesian between it and the Magic Kingdom.

Thus I suggest walking over to the Polynesian instead and watching it from the beach.  You can stop by at the Quick Service location before going out on to the beach and grabbing a cool drink or a snack.  Also the music is typically piped in on the beach there which makes it a really nice place to watch from.

I hope this helps!  Please write back with more questions!
