We will be staying at A of A in Sept. How long should I expect it to take to travel toDisney parks using Disney transportation? Thanks!

The new resort on the Walt Disney World block is a bold, colorful blast of a hotel. Disney's Art of Animation is theming on a fun, grand scale; be prepared to sleep surrounded by a story.

The general rule is to allow one to one and a half hours of travel time between destinations in WDW when using the transportation system. Stick to this rule if you have any type of reservations so you will not feel rushed. In the morning buses typically come frequently to pick up and deliver guests to the theme parks so your travel time should be shorter. The Magic Kingdom is about seven miles from your hotel; you will spend about 15 minutes on the bus. Disney's Hollywood Studios and Epcot are around three miles away for a quick, maybe 10 minute bus ride, and Disney's Animal Kingdom is a 10- 15 ride. This resort has a dedicated bus so you do not stop anywhere else. Consider the time walking to the bus stop, waiting for the bus, walking to the park entrance, and lines at the bag check and turnstiles when considering your travel time to the parks.

    Enjoy your magical vacation!
