Hello. We will be staying at Saratoga Springs. I will be traveling with my children (infant) and (2) They asked me if I had a location preference. Which building is close to the main pool, but also you can see Downtown Disney at night. Any suggestions, THX

    Hi Holly,

Thank you for your question, I love helping families that travel with small children.  I was often told I shouldn't bother visiting Disney until they were older because they wouldn't remember it, but I have the best memories of these vacations!

To answer your question, unfortunately there is not a building that is real close to the main building AND has a view of Downtown Disney.  So depending on which will be most important for your family, I have a couple of suggestions:  If the view of Downtown Disney is important, I would suggest that you request to be in Congress Park.  Make sure that you also include that you would prefer a Downtown Disney view.  Building 2501-2836 is probably the best choice for proximity to the main area of the resort.

If location is more important, I have two suggestions:

    1. Springs Section (any of the buildings are great).  They are close to the bus stop, main pool and restaurants.  I've stayed here several times and was very happy with our choice.  Although not a Downtown Disney view, the views are very nice most of them are a water view.  To me the only downfall here is that they are popular, and could show more wear because it was one of the first areas to open in this resort.

    2. Grandstand Building 8501-8836 - This is my new favorite building.  I love the location!  This is one of the newer sections of this resort, and this building is right next to a feature pool.  I love this pool because it has a great splash/spray-ground for the little ones.  I think it's a hidden gem!  The building is close to the main building, but a little walk to a bus stop.

I hope this was helpful, good luck with your decision!
