i am staying at saratoga springs resort and have a service animal - is that okay?

    Daniel,

This question is so close to my heart, as my family helps raise service dogs with ICAN back in Indiana! I think that you will find that Disney does a great job of balancing the desire to welcome and accommodate service animals with the need to ensure their health and security. They deserve a magical time too, right?

Disney spells out their Service Animal policy very clearly, which helps so much. On that page I love that they go further, identifying areas where service dogs are either restricted or only permitted with caution. This is more about attractions and ensuring the safety of your service animal and knowing helps you in your planning process before you arrive. They also outline relief areas in the theme parks, again helping you plan your day.

Disney goes further, with a page that covers more specifically the question about Services for Guests with Disabilities at Disney Resort Hotels. Of course, your service animal is welcome at your Disney resort, and they even speak to service animal relief areas at the hotel. At Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa they ask that you use any grassy areas that are adjacent to parking lots.

There is also a more general page for Services for Guests with Disabilities, which you may want to also check out.

    BONUS TIP
Many of the Disney stores in the theme parks and at Disney Springs have pet sections. Maybe your service animal has earned a souvenir collar?

    Have a Magical Vacation!
