We are staying at Saratoga Springs Resort with grandparents, pregnant mommie, pre-schooler and a great-great granddad. We have the meal plan, so all set except for breakfast. Where can we stock up on things for breakfast? Is there a grocery store?

    Hi Deborah,

It sounds like you have a great vacation planned!  Vacationing with extended family can be so much fun, and a Disney Vacation Club resort such as Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a great place to do this as you will have lots of space in your villa.  My family also loves having breakfast in our villa when we visit Walt Disney World.  That way we can head out the door and to our fun as early as possible each morning.

You do have a couple of choices for groceries.  At Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, you can visit The Artist's Palette at the Carriage House, which does have some groceries and sundries; however, this is not a full grocery store and is probably best if you are looking to pick up a few items.  Another option, if you would like more groceries and if you are a Disney Vacation Club member, is to visit the Disney Vacation Club member website, where you can find a place to order groceries to be delivered to your villa.  Once you log on, select the tab for "Vacation Planning" and select "Pre-Arrival Checklist" from the drop-down menu.  From there, you can click on the link to "Order Groceries."  You will need to choose your resort, and then print out, fill in, and fax or send in the order form, which must arrive three business days before you do.  A final option is to use an unofficial website such as gardengrocer.com, which is grocery delivery service which can deliver to your Walt Disney World resort.

I hope that this gives you some ideas, Deborah!  Have a wonderful time planning your trip, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions.
