Hi there, Maria! Welcome back to planDisney--it's so nice to have you visit us once again, and I hope that our past tips have helped your Disney adventures be extra magical. It looks like you'll be setting sail on a fabulous land and sea vacation this very week, so let's dive right in to track down the information you're looking for.
One great benefit of sailing with
Disney Cruise Line is that you can combine your pixie-dusted voyage with a magical stay at a
Walt Disney World Resort hotel before or after your cruise. Guests can travel directly to and from Port Canaveral via DCL ground transfer (available for a fee), which makes for a seamless vacation experience!
We are big fans of
Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa--I have two separate stays booked there in the next six months! Hopefully, you'll be able to check out some of the dining locations I suggested in response to your
previous question before and after your cruise. You will also have the opportunity to catch the nightly drone show at
Disney Springs,
Disney Dreams That Soar, which will be happening through early September.
Unfortunately, Bell Services will not be able to store groceries for you for several days while you are cruising. Guests may store luggage and groceries until midnight on the day of check-out. However, you can bring the sealed water bottles with you on the cruise and enjoy them during your sailing. Just keep in mind they must be carried on with you, rather than in a checked bag.
It's also a snap to order what you need directly to Saratoga Springs after your cruise. We frequently use third-party delivery services for some basic groceries or other essentials that we left behind (someone ALWAYS forgets sunscreen, Maria!). As long as the order doesn't contain alcohol or other age-restricted items, Bell Services can receive the order on the day you are checking in post-cruise and you can pick it up once you arrive.
Maria, I hope your land and sea adventures are smooth sailing from start to finish! Thanks again for returning to planDisney, and please don't hesitate to reach out again if there is anything else we can help with before your departure.
Bon Voyage!
Susan
