We will be staying at Saratoga Springs this November and we have ADR at other resorts. If we opt to use Uber do we need to meet near the main gate or is it possible to be picked up near our villa?

    Hi Stephanie,

I am so glad to hEAR you have an upcoming visit at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa, which just happens to be one of my "Home Resorts" with Disney Vacation Club. I hope you love this stately, handsome Resort as much as I do, as well as the easy and convenient access to Disney Springs, only a short walk or boat ride away.

Stephanie, if you are planning on using a taxi or Uber service during your stay, your driver should have no trouble entering the Resort for purposes of picking you up outside your Building. Your driver should have photo identification to present to security personnel when entering the main gates of the Resort, but should be allowed access for purposes of collecting you at your Villa.

As you are interested in travelling in true Disney style, you may also wish to consider the newly launched Minnie Van service. While this service is currently only available from select Resorts, ultimately it is expected that guests will be able to request a vehicle from their mobile device for transportation anywhere within Walt Disney World Resort. Be sure to keep your eyes on the Disney Parks Blog for more information as you get closer to your trip for more exciting and up-to-date information on this fantastic new transportation option.

    Happy Travels!
