We are staying at Saratoga Springs July 4 2017. Where will we be able to see fireworks other than the parks that night?

    Hi Cheryl,

You must be so excited about your upcoming Independence Day visit to Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. There is no better place to celebrate the holidays than the Walt Disney World Resort! While Walt Disney World Resort Park Hours have been released for July 2017, I expect there may be some changes to the calendar as we get closer to July. Currently the schedule shows fireworks will be taking place in two of the four Theme Parks; IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot and Fantasmic! at Disney's Hollywood Studios. In addition, the Rivers of Light nighttime show at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park is also on the schedule. While currently Magic Kingdom Park does not show any times for nightly fireworks, I expect the schedule for "Happily Ever After" Nighttime Spectacular should be added soon. Therefore, I recommend that you keep checking back for further updates.

If you are looking to view fireworks from outside the four Theme Parks, Magic Kingdom Park provides the best viewing options. One of my favorite places to do so is from the beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort. There is nothing like grabbing a Dole Whip from the Pineapple Lanai, sitting on the shores of the Seven Seas Lagoon and watching fireworks in the distance over Cinderella Castle. It is simply magical!

Wishing you all the best with your vacation planning!
