We are staying at Saratoga Springs in early December. My husband is a fitness swimmer and would like to know where is the nearest lap pool?

Hi Loretta! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. With it's Old New York style theme, Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa is a spectacular and fun resort to visit.

None of the Walt Disney World Resort pools have divided or measured lanes similar to an official lap pool. The High Rock Spring Pool at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa will be your husband's best bet for exercise. To avoid the inevitable crowds I would suggest very early morning swims so he has a better chance of getting a real workout.

If having swim training is really important to your husband, you may want to look into staying at the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel or the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel where there are 2 official lap pools.

I hope that helps as you plan your magical trip to Walt Disney World Resort.
