Hi there Mike,
Welcome to planDisney! Your Disney World vacation is just around the corner – how exciting! Staying at a Disney Resort hotel places you right in the heart of the magic, with easy access to the theme parks, shopping and dining at Disney Springs, and a quick bus ride to the water parks. With so many incredible activities at the resorts, you might find yourself narrowing down which ones are calling to you the most!
My family loves our stays at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa. You’re a short walk or boat ride away from Disney Springs making it so easy to hop over to dine at one of the many fantastic restaurants. While unfortunately, Pool hopping to other Resort hotels is not allowed, you are set with access to all of the
Saratoga Springs pools. The resort is home to two feature pools: High Rock Spring Pool and The Paddock Pool in addition to 3 Leisure Pools (near the Treehouse Villas, Congress Park and The Grandstand).
Both feature pools have a zero-depth entry point and mini water slides perfect for younger Guests. For the bigger kids (and the young at heart!) there are larger water slides that will be sure to bring out plenty of smiles! You can relax in the whirlpool spas on the pool deck and if you’re hungry, you can grab some food from
On the Rocks Pool Bar (High Rock Spring Pool) or
The Paddock Grill (The Paddock Pool) so you can refuel.
If you’re spending a day at the High Rock Spring Pool, keep an eye out for the Resort Activity Team. They bring the fun with trivia games, music and more! My kids love testing their Disney knowledge while splashing around - it’s a nice change of pace from theme park fun. Currently, activities are offered daily between 12:00 PM and 2:15 PM.
If you’re looking for some waves, a lazy river or tube slides, you’re in luck! Guests staying onsite at a Disney Resort Hotel can access the
2025 Water Park Benefit and receive complimentary admission to a Disney Water Park on check-in day. My family took advantage of this offer this summer and had a blast staying cool and exploring Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon. To scan into the Water Park, you’ll need your MagicBand, Key to the World Card or Disney MobileMagic Pass. Don’t worry about packing a towel - head to Singapore Sal’s after you enter the park and you can pick up a complimentary towel to use for the day!
Lastly, I highly recommend checking out the
Resort Activity Guide so you don’t miss out on all of the fun offered at the Resort. One of my kids’ must-do experiences during a Disney Vacation is roasting marshmallows over the
campfire and followed by catching a Movie Under the Stars. It’s the perfect way to wind down! Currently, movies are shown outside The Artist’s Palette at 8:30 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.
I hope you have a wonderful stay at Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa! Enjoy your time at Disney World and I hope you return home with many magical memories.
See ya real soon,
Candace
