Hi! We're staying at the Saratoga resort in September. I'd like to take my son to the beach, but don't want to waste the time in the car (he's a toddler). Is it possible to use a beach at a different resort such as the beach club or Grand floridian?

    Hi there Dayna!

From what I understand, as a Walt Disney World Resort guest you are able to enjoy other resorts freely except for the resort pools. One of my favorite things to do is go to the Polynesian resort before the wishes fireworks and hang out at the beach with the kids. Then, when the fireworks start it's just plain magical.

I'm not sure if you know but the beaches are only for playing in the sand, they do not allow resort guests to swim in the water. So, may I also suggest going to Typhoon Lagoon and playing/swimming there? The wave pool is just like being at the beach and the tropical setting is fantastic. There is also a really nice toddler area where your son could play for hours. I hope you and your family have a Magical Time at the Walt Disney World Resort! If you have more questions, we are always here to help! Thanks so much for asking the Moms Panel!
