Hi Colleen, welcome home and welcome to planDisney! Our family just wrapped up a quick stay at
Disney’s Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa after a Disney cruise, a great way to enjoy Disney magic on land and at sea. Now let’s saddle up and talk about member activities for your upcoming stay!
Disney Vacation Club has not yet announced any specific DVC member activities such as Welcome Home Weeks or
Moonlight Magic events that coincide with your stay. However, you’ll want to be on the lookout for any e-mails from DVC in case there are any last-minute activities available for you to enjoy. For example, for my recent Saratoga Springs stay, I received an e-mail a couple days prior that there was an advance screening of the upcoming Pixar movie Hoppers exclusive for DVC members at Disney Springs!
Colleen, don’t forget about all the recreation and activities that Saratoga Springs provides. There’s a little bit of something for everyone! If you like to stay fit and active, the Resort offers morning yoga sessions a couple days throughout the week. You can also rent
regular and Surrey bikes to pedal around the Resort. In addition,
the Community Hall provides plenty of free and paid arts and crafts activities, such as creating mosaics and paintings. You'll find a list of daily Resort activities there as well. Also, the Cast Members at Saratoga Springs provide some great entertainment poolside at the High Rock Spring Pool Deck!
Being adjacent to Disney Springs, don’t forget some of the
Member discounts and activities available there as well! On Monday nights, Splitsville Luxury Lanes offers a Member night that includes a 2-hour bowling experience, shoe rentals, food, and more. Specific details on pricing and how to book
can be found here. Don’t forget to check out the Gateway to Discovery - A Disney Vacation Club Welcome Home Center as well for the latest info on DVC offerings.
