Hi .... we will be staying at saratoga complex. We want to have breakfast with mickey at 8:30 am what buses do we take and what are the schedules so that we get there on time

    Hi Freddy,

Character dining is a great way to meet many Disney characters without having to wait in line. One of the best places to meet Mickey Mouse and his friends for breakfast is at Chef Mickey's. This fun buffet is located on in Disney's Contemporary Resort. You can meet Mickey Mouse and his friends dressed in their chef's attire, all as the monorail zips by! Please do note that all character experiences are subject to change.

If you are heading to Chef Mickey's, you might be able to catch a bus from Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa to Magic Kingdom Park and then take the five to ten minute walk to Disney's Contemporary Resort. Disney buses typically run starting about one hour before a theme park opens. This means that you would be cutting it close if Magic Kingdom Park opens at 9:00 a.m., as I think you would need to allow an hour for this travel; however, if Magic Kingdom Park opens at 8:00 a.m. that day and you could catch a bus around 7:30 a.m., this could work.

If you are going to a different restaurant or if Magic Kingdom Park opens later, typically, there are special buses to take guests to character breakfasts that are early in the morning. I suggest that you check with a cast member in the lobby at Disney's Saratoga Springs Resort & Spa a day or two before your breakfast. The cast member there can tell you what time you would need to catch the bus in the morning.

A final option for you could be to take a taxi. Although you will need to pay for this, it is likely to be the quickest and most direct option.

I hope that these thoughts are helpful for you, Freddy. Have a wonderful time planning your vacation, and please do not hesitate to ask if you have any further questions!
