If staying in an RV at the Disney campsite am I required to purchase park tickets for the parks or can I take advantage of the camping experience during my exclusive stay at the campsite? Also are their pools, etc at the campsite Orlando?

    Howdy Giovanni!

Welcome to planDisney!  Thank you for sharing this great question with us!

My family and I love The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort!  This resort is packed with adventure around every corner!  With so much to do at this resort, you may decide to enjoy the resort amenities and activities without visiting a theme park.  If you decide to enjoy this resort and do not plan to visit one of the theme parks, Hakuna Matata; No Worries!  You will be able to find tons of fun throughout this fantastic resort.  This resort offers two amazing pools!  The Meadow Swimmin’ Pool area provides a fantastic pool, whirlpool spa, and fun space for the kiddos to splash around!  Since you will be visiting in February, you will be happy to know that these pools are heated to 82 degrees during the winter months!  Your vacation sounds fantastic!

If you are thinking about renting a golf cart, then I highly recommend it!  We have always enjoyed renting a golf cart during our stays at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort!  A golf cart is the best way to get around!  We love to drive our golf cart to Bay Lake and watch the Electrical Water Pageant!  The Electrical Water Pageant is a nostalgic attraction that you will not want to miss!

If you decide to visit one of the theme parks for a day, I recommend going to the Magic Kingdom Park.  You will be visiting during Walt Disney World’s 50th anniversary!  This EPIC celebration is something that I am sure you will not want to experience.  There have been several announcements already released about this once-in-a-lifetime 18-month event.  To stay informed of all of the announcements, go to “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” and “Sign Up!”
