    We are staying in a room with another family. I would like to set up our magicbands to charge items to the room while in the parks can we just set it for our family of four or does everyone in the room need to use the same card?

    Hi Nicole, 

    Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for asking us another question! 

    We often travel to Walt Disney World Resort with other families and, because we’re Disney Vacation Club members, we often stay in Deluxe Villa accommodations in rooms that can fit up two or more families comfortably. This also means, however, that everyone has a different credit card that they would like to use for their vacation purchases. 

    I have some great news for you: based on my experience, you can link an individual Guest’s MagicBand to the to the credit card of their choice, even if it’s not the same one that is associated with the vacation reservation. So, yes, you and your family of four can have their MagicBands linked to one credit card for their purchases, while the other family’s MagicBands are linked to another. 

    In order to ensure that the MagicBands are linked properly, please mention your request to the Cast Member when you check in to your Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. It’s also a good idea to check your Resort account in your My Disney Experience app or request a printout of your MagicBands’ respective transactions after your first day in order to double check that everything is being processed correctly.
