Hi Ali,
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! I had to do some super sleuthing to verify my answer to your question. Well, actually, a super awesome cast member helped me!
The cast member with whom I spoke said that Oak Manor is comprised of Royal Guest rooms. With a Garden View room, you could request Acadian House or Magnolia Terrace. When I am trying to determine the best room location at a given resort, I always search for more detailed maps online. Although I cannot link one here, there is one available that will give you a better sense of buildings and room numbers.
This resort is just beautiful. My husband and I honeymooned at Disney's Port Orleans - French Quarter and I have toured the Royal Guest Rooms at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside. The decor is simply lovely but, more than anything, I appreciate the tranquility of the grounds. Be sure to dine at Boatwright's Dining Hall or take some time to try the
Bike Rentals.
Ali, also be sure to explore Disney Springs while there. The restaurants, shopping and activities astound me. My favorite restaurant is STK Orlando. The music, food and outdoor patio create this lovely space to reflect on the day's journey. Before leaving, you must try a cupcake from
Sprinkles. They are just delicious. If you do visit Disney Springs, be sure to stop by the
Disney PhotoPass Service Studio. Take a few photos and cherish the moment in time they represent!
Magic, memories and Minnie Mouse hugs,
Donyell
