We are staying at Riverside in July. We are arriving by car. Do we have to enter a code or use our magic bands to get in the gate? Do they have valet parking for when we arrive? Thanks!

Hello Bryan! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Mom Panel.

Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside is my favorite of the Moderate Resorts at Walt Disney World Resort. The sprawling area comprised of the quaint backwoods cottages and stately white-columned mansions is an immersive experience that, when combined with Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter as a shared Resort, make it a new adventure at every turn.

When driving your own vehicle, Valet Parking is available at some of the Disney Deluxe Resorts at a cost of $25 a day. As a moderate Walt Disney World Resort, valet parking is not offered at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside.

When you arrive on Check-In day, you may drive up to the main entrance to drop off your family and baggage with a Cast Member and then park in one of the designated parking spots for Guests Checking-In.  They are located very close to the main entrance at Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside and are reserved for Guests Checking-In for a limited time frame.

Once you have completed the Check-In process and are ready to park your vehicle close to your room, you may use your provided MagicBand on any of the lowered gates to access the parking sections of the resort.

To expedite the Check-In process, be sure to Check-In online up to 60 days in advance of your vacation using your My Disney Experience Account.

Have a good time heading down the Bayou on your vacation!
