Hi! My DH and I will be staying at the Riveria. We’ve heard great reviews about Sebastian’s, I thought this would be a good time to try it. We aren’t big eaters (but like good food) will the family style be too much food for us? Can we take our leftovers?

    Hi there, Andrea!

How wonderful that you and your husband will be staying at Disney’s Riviera Resort—such a charming and elegant place to call home during your Walt Disney World Resort vacation! As you mentioned, Sebastian’s Bistro over at Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort has been getting rave reviews for its flavorful cuisine.

Sebastian’s Bistro offers a family-style dining experience, featuring a variety of Caribbean-inspired dishes brought to your table for everyone to share. The meal typically includes a variety of meats, seafood, vegetables, and sides - it’s definitely a feast!

Since you mentioned that you’re not big eaters, the family-style portions might feel like a lot. However, it’s served in a way that allows you to try a little bit of everything at your own pace. You’ll be served portions appropriate for a party of two, and the good news is, you can enjoy what you like and not feel pressured to finish everything on the table.

Disney restaurants generally have a policy against taking home leftovers from family-style meals and buffets. This is because these meals are considered "all-you-care-to-enjoy," and allowing leftovers could encourage guests to overorder. However, it’s always a good idea to ask your server directly, as policies can sometimes vary or be flexible depending on the situation.

I encourage you to enjoy the leisurely pace of the meal. Take your time to savor each dish, and feel free to let your server know if you’d like to slow down the service. Once you see what’s on the table, focus on your favorites. You don’t have to eat everything, just what you truly enjoy!

The easiest way to get to Sebastian’s Bistro from Disney’s Riviera Resort is by taking a quick and scenic ride on the Disney Skyliner! Head to the Skyliner station and board a gondola to Caribbean Beach Resort. The ride is short and offers lovely views of the resort areas. Once you arrive at the Caribbean Beach Resort station, it’s just a short walk to Sebastian’s Bistro. The restaurant is located near the Old Port Royale area.

Whether you go with Sebastian’s Bistro or another dining experience, I’m sure it will be a wonderful addition to your stay at the gorgeous Riviera Resort!
