Hi Emily,
Keep those magical Walt Disney World Resort vacation-planning questions coming! I've had advance dining reservations on my mind this week, as well. I can't start booking for my January visit for several months, but it's never too early to dream. My son would really like his taste buds to blast off at
Space 220 Restaurant in EPCOT and I've been craving the Fried Chicken at
Chef Art Smith's Homecomin' in Disney Springs. Disney thrills don't always involve attractions!
I'm pleased as Pluto to share you do not have to be staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel to make dining reservations or book Enchanting Extras Collection experiences in advance. In fact, you don't even have to have a theme park ticket at the time of booking, though valid admission is required to redeem an in-park reservation.
Advance reservations for dining can be made
online 60 days in advance. A new day of reservations typically goes live at
6:00 a.m. Advance reservations for many Enchanting Extras Collection experiences, such as
Bibbibi Bobbidi Boutique at Magic Kingdom Park and
Magic Kingdom Fireworks Dessert Parties, are available beginning at midnight 60 days in advance. In my experience, the early bird (or night owl, as the case may be) finds the most availability.
As
Jonathon shared, Guests staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel can book for their entire length of stay (up to 10 days) 60 days before check-in. All other Guests may book as each day reaches the 60-day mark. If availability for your desired restaurant or experience is not available, just keep trying. Reservation availability changes in real-time as Guests are constantly reimagining their park days.
I hope this information helps make your reservation dreams come true, Emily. Please don't hesitate to reach out to me
directly with any follow-up questions.
Choose magic,
Jennifer
