Hi there, Jennifer! Thanks for making a return trip to planDisney--it's great to see you here again. What a treat to chat with a fellow
Disney Vacation Club Member! I see that you're making last-minute preparations for your
Walt Disney World Resort vacation, so let's get down to business and track down the information you're looking for!
Just think, in a few short days you'll be living the VIP life at
The Villas at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa. This resort is the ultimate in luxury and has (in my opinion) one of the best locations on property. The walking path to
Magic Kingdom Park is a game-changer when you're leaving the park post-fireworks, and you can also access the Monorail or take a relaxing boat ride.
Jennifer, I'm happy to report that the Deluxe Studios at the Grand Floridian all feature wall-mounted refillable dispensers for shampoo, conditioner, and body wash. I am so glad that this change was implemented at all of the Walt Disney World resort hotels a few years back--it is a great step for sustainability, and also frees up some room in your luggage which you can devote to excellent souvenirs!
While you're staying at the Grand, you may want to snag a dining reservation for
1900 Park Fare. This family favorite restaurant recently reopened with a new lineup of characters, including Cinderella, Tiana (her famous gumbo can also be found on the menu), Aladdin, and Mirabel from
Encanto. Do not miss the strawberry soup--it is out of this world!
The countdown is on to your well-deserved vacation, Jennifer! Wishing you safe travels and a magical and memorable time with your family and friends. Please reach out again if we can help with any additional questions!
Stay Magical!
Susan
