When staying at a Resort, do you need to make reservations for every meal (breakfast every day and dinner at leat half the visit)? Or just IN park?? Any good ideas for a romantic anniversary dinner?

    Hi Hilary,

I know it can be overwhelming when you're looking into all of the choices you have for dining.  You definitely need to make your Advanced Dining Reservations for all of the table service restaurants inside the parks and at the resorts.  Character Dining experiences are the most popular so do those first.  There are quick service restaurants throughout Disney World.  You don't have to book a table service restaurant for each meal if you don't want to.

I love Victoria and Albert's at The Grand Floridian Resort for a romantic dinner.  It's spectacular!   I also enjoy going to California Grill at the top of The Contemporary Resort, but I like to reserve that when Wishes Nighttime Spectacular is scheduled at Magic Kingdom.  Another favorite is Artist Point at Wilderness Lodge Resort.  Very romantic and the food is excellent.  So many to choose from, but those are my top 3.

You can make your reservations by calling (407)WDW-DINE.  They will book the reservation up to 180 days before your stay.  Please see the link that I've attached that lists the different character meals that Disney has to offer.   The Castmembers who make the reservations over the phone are very knowledgable and will help you tremendously.

I hope this information helps!  Have a very happy anniversary!

Magic Kingdom still takes my breath away, but my favorite place to be is on a Disney ship looking at the horizon and breathing in that crisp, clean ocean air!  I love planning Disney vacations for others and making sure it's more than they dreamed. Learn More About Marisol
