If staying at a resort hotel can we use the shuttle to go to different resorts for restaurants on days other than when our park tickets are for?

Hi there, Edith, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Dining at the Walt Disney World Resort is like an attraction in itself! There are so many amazing experiences to choose from. You can meet your favorite Disney pals at a character meal, have some hand-clappin' fun at a dinner show, or enjoy a truly fine-dining experience at a AAA Five-Diamond restaurant.

You have a couple of options for getting from your Resort hotel to a restaurant in another Resort hotel. There's no direct Disney bus service between Resort hotels, but you can take a bus from your hotel to a Theme Park or Disney Springs and transfer. You won't need a Park ticket to do this since you won't actually be entering the Theme Park. If you do use the bus service for reservations at another Resort hotel, Disney recommends allowing about 90 minutes travel time.

Another fun way to get around the Walt Disney World Resort is Disney's Minnie Van Service. Just order your ride through the Lyft app, and an adorable red vehicle with white polka dots reminiscent of Minnie's favorite ensemble will show up to whisk you to your destination. There's an extra charge for this service, but it's by far the quickest and most direct way to travel at Walt Disney World.

I hope this helps you plan some marvelous meals at Walt Disney World, Edith! Please stop by and see us again if you have any more questions.

Meet the Panelist: Kathy, Florida

I've lived my whole life just an hour's drive from Walt Disney World, so I've been a regular visitor for as long as I can remember. Even after all these years and so many visits, I love that there's still so much to discover! Now that I'm a mom myself, seeing my favorite place through my son's eyes has given me a whole new perspective that I enjoy sharing with other parents of young children. Learn More About Kathy
