Do you have to be staying at resort to get a free DW shuttle from airport to park? My sister will be coming to meet us, but will be leaving park to stay with aunts who will have a car at DW the day that she arrives.

Disney's Magical Express Service is a perk of staying in a Disney Resort. Unfortunately, if your sister doesn't have a reservation, then she won't be able to use the Disney shuttle. However, there are several ways she could get to Disney from the airport, and most are pretty economical.

    • Taxi - it's been several years since I've done this so prices have likely increased, but the last time I took a taxi from Disney to the airport it cost me around $85. This is one of the more expensive options.
    • Hired Car Service - there are several to choose from, and they will even stop at a grocery or liquor store if you'd like to pick up some food or drink items for your stay.
    • Shuttle Bus - while they aren't as 'magical' as the Disney buses, there are many other shuttle services available for a very reasonable price.
    • Rental Car - even if she doesn't want a car for the duration of her trip, she can rent a car at the airport and return it on Disney property. Alamo and National both have rental locations at the Dolphin Resort. This is often the cheapest option - a friend recently booked a car for $10/day!
