Hi Jade, welcome to planDisney!
Great Disney minds plan alike! I, too, am hoping to secure my tickets to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party this week. The ability to purchase this special event ticket a week before they go on sale for the general public is a great perk of staying in a
Disney Resort Collection hotel. Another benefit of staying at a Disney hotel is 30-minute
early theme park entry at all four parks each day. My family heads straight for the standby line of Individual Lightning Lane attractions, which helps us stick to our budget.
Last year, I called to obtain my Disney After Hours Boo Bash tickets on the day they became available to Guests staying at a Disney hotel. Prior to that day, I received an email that gave a phone number to call for tickets. After several dropped calls and a couple of hours of Disney hold music, I connected with a friendly Cast Member. She asked for my hotel reservation number and we completed the transaction in less than ten minutes.
As of right now, I have not received an email about how to purchase this year's Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets. In the absence of new information, I will be following last year's information and calling on the morning of May 12. Phone lines open at 7:00 a.m. Eastern Standard Time so you'll have to do some time zone math to figure out the equivalent for your location. The best number to call would be the
Special Events number. If wait times are long, whistle to the hold music while you work and wait to speak with a Cast Member or call back later or even the next day. Tickets for the first and the last party typically sell out first, but you should have no trouble getting tickets for your August date if you call during the first few days.
Let's keep an eye on our emails between now and May 12 for new information about the process for purchasing Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party tickets, Jade. This spooktacular event promises to be full of ghoulish delights. I'm especially eager for my kids to experience their first Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade. They've signed a nap agreement, so the plan is to attend the less-crowded later parade.
Plan magic; planDisney.
