If we are staying on the resort during Christmas do we still have to pay for the Christmas parade tickets

Nancy, you will be blown away by the holiday decorations at Walt Disney World; the parks are a decked out Disney delight. Hundreds of Christmas trees, thousands of poinsettias, and zillions of sparkling lights create a fairy tale sight.

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, which includes a Christmas parade, special holiday fireworks, snow on Main Street, U.S.A., cookies with hot chocolate, and more, is a special event that requires a separate ticket even for resort guests staying on WDW property. MVMCP is such a festive, fun event you should consider attending. Even old Duck McScrooge gets in the holiday spirit after an evening at a Mickey Christmas party.

After the last party is held on December 20th, Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade is typically held each afternoon in the Magic Kingdom through Christmas Day. Standard park admission to the Magic Kingdom during this time includes the chance to watch and enjoy the parade of tin soldiers, favorite characters in their holiday finery, gingerbread guys, dancing elves, and the big red suited dude himself.

Have yourself a merry Disney Christmas!
