Staying on property for 1st time in Nov. with family of 3. Is Moderate resort (Carib. Beach) worth the extra $600ish over a Value resort (PC or Movies)? Won't be there much, but want comfort on a budget! Thanks for your help!

    Hi Wendy!

I personally prefer Pop Century over the Caribbean Beach Resort.  I think the Caribbean Beach Resort is too large if you don't have your own car and have to rely on Disney transportation.  My favorite Disney Moderate Resort is Port Orleans Riverside.  I especially like the Alligator Bayou section of that resort.  I love the theming!

If you are not going to be at your hotel much, then I recommend Pop Century.  It has the best food court on property and it only has one bus stop; it also doesn't share buses with any other hotels.

However, if you're looking to do things at your hotel besides just sleeping, then I recommend Port Orleans Riverside.  It has a very large pool, with a great water slide.  There is also a Table Service restaurant on site for dinner.  You can go cane pole fishing in the mornings right there at the resort.  There is also boat service to Downtown Disney which is a very nice trip to make, especially at night.

Enjoy planning and write back if you have any more questions!
