Hiya Peggy - welcome to
planDisney!
Thanks so much for stopping by with your question for our team of panelists. We love helping Guests just like you plan your very own magical Walt Disney World Resort vacations!
Let me start by saying how gosh darn excited I am for you - that sounds like an absolutely amazing trip you have coming up! I love longer trips when they're possible. It really allows you to relax and enjoy everything, including exploring new and unique places and experiences you might have skipped on previous trips because you've run out of time. You are certainly going to enjoy the
Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary Celebration to its fullest - there are exciting new attractions, wonderful entertainment, and the new food options are amazing!
It sounds like you've been doing your homework! You are correct that at the 60-day mark Guests can make Advance Dining Reservations for the entirety of their trip, but that is limited to a maximum of 10 days. For those lucky enough to be visiting longer, like you, the 11th through 18th days of your trip will follow the standard 60-day rule, day by day. So, yes, you'll have eight days of reservations that you would be booking day by day.
One possible exception would be if you have a split stay booked, wherein part of your vacation is at one Resort and then you have a separate reservation and move to a different Resort for the remainder of your trip. In that case, each reservation
should have its own 60 + 10 days availability for making reservations from the date of check-in. I purposely said should, because I know from my own experience that sometimes Ralph Breaks the Internet and this availability isn't always automagically shown for the second reservation. In this case, it's best to
call and speak to a Cast Member who can help you book Advance Dining Reservations for the length of your second Resort reservation, 60 days prior to that reservation's check-in date.
I hope this information is helpful as you continue planning your AMAZING vacation -
please let me know if you have any additional questions!
