we will be staying on property and would like to reserve dinner show at the Animall Kingdom. Will we need to have a ticket to enter the park in order to join the dinner show? If not, do we just go to the park entrance and someone escorts us or?? Thank you!

    Hi Ellen,

Thanks so much for bringing your great question to us at the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and greetings from a fellow Hoosier! I see that your trip is just a little over two months away, and I bet that you're getting so excited! Your FastPass+ booking day will be here soon, and then you'll really see your trip itinerary come together!

I'm not sure whether you're referring to the Rivers of Light Dining Package or the Festival of the Lion King Signature Dining Package - Tier I or Tier II, which are the dinner reservations that you can make at Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park that are accompanied by access to a show, however my answer will be the same. All of those do require valid theme park admission to enjoy. Dinner won't be served during the show, rather you'll enjoy your dinner at your choice of participating restaurants, then have a seat waiting for you during the show. If you're interested in booking one of those, you may use the links above to check for availability. They're a great way to enjoy a delicious meal and access to an incredible show!

If you're looking for a fun dinner show outside of the theme parks that doesn't require theme park admission, I'd recommend the Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue or Disney's Spirit of Aloha Dinner Show. They both serve delicious food with lots of fun and a touch of Disney magic!

Please let us know if we can help with anything else as you're planning your trip, Ellen. I hope that you have a truly magical vacation!
