If I am staying on the property and have a reservation at Chef Mickey's for breakfast at the Contemporary, can I park at the resort for the reservation and then leave my vehicle at the resort while we walk to the Magic Kingdom Park and spend the day?

Hi John! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

Your trip is only THREE days away now! Woohoo! It sounds like you have done a wonderful job of planning this vacation with reservations like Chef Mickey's on your itinerary. This is one of my favorite ways to meet-and-greet with Mickey Mouse and friends. No waiting in lines PLUS delicious food? Sign me up!

When it comes to parking for dining reservations at Disney Resort hotels, you are allowed a maximum of three hours parking at no charge. This is for both Guests staying on or off of Walt Disney World Resort property. With this in mind, you will need to move your vehicle to the Magic Kingdom Park parking lot (the Transportation and Ticket Center) for your day of fun in the theme park. Parking at all four theme parks is complimentary for Guests that are staying at a Disney Resort hotel.

Another option you have that would save you from parking twice is to park at the Transportation and Ticket Center before your breakfast reservation, then hop on the Resort Monorail. Disney's Contemporary Resort will be the fourth stop on the monorail. After breakfast, you can simply walk to Magic Kingdom Park from Disney's Contemporary Resort to begin your magical day right away!

I hope this helps, John! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
