We are staying on the property at Port Orleans. DO we need to drive or we have the option of flying for free through a friend? Will the shuttle's on the property take you off the property and if so how much. We are on a very STRICT budget. HELP!

There is free transportation from Orlando International Airport to Port Orleans via Disney's Magical Express Service. You can find more information about Magical Express HERE.

Additionally, you can get free (and fun) transportation anywhere on WDW property. This includes the four theme parks, the two water parks, Downtown Disney, and more than 20 beautiful resorts. This transportation may take the form of bus, boat, or monorail, depending on where you're going. You can read more about your on-site transportation options HERE.

The one thing Disney won't do for free is take you anywhere off property other than the airport. For that you would need to rent a car or take a taxi or independent shuttle service. The largest shuttle and taxi provider in the area is Mears Transportation. They have shuttle pricing and a taxi fare estimator on their website at mearstransportation.com.

    Good luck with your planning!
