We are staying on property and have 1 park/day tickets with park reservations. If we leave for an afternoon break and park hits capacity are we still allowed re-entry back to the same park we have reservations for? We arrive in a few weeks. Thanks

    Hello Tasha!

I am excited because you will arrive for your Walt Disney World vacation soon! It sounds like you are well on your way to planning your Walt Disney World vacation if you have your tickets and park reservations all set!

Yes, with one park-a-day Walt Disney World ticket, you can leave the park and return to the same park later that day. There are only a few days during the year (typically the Christmas holiday and the days around it) where a park will reach capacity and limit entry into that park. When a park closes for capacity, there are different levels of closure. Guests of Walt Disney World Resorts are the last level to be limited (meaning if you are staying at a Walt Disney World Resort, you should let back into a park even if other Guests are not allowed entry due to capacity). One of my best tips is to go back to your Walt Disney World Resort during the middle of the day to relax and maybe even take a nap. Then when you are refreshed, you can go back to the park and enjoy it with renewed energy!

I hope that your next Walt Disney World vacation is magical for you!
