Hello Amy and welcome to planDisney!
There are so many
Benefits of staying in a Walt Disney World Resort hotel which is why my family keeps on
Returning to a World of Magic of Walt Disney World Resort - there truly is something for everyone to enjoy, from the young to the very young-at-heart. And, there's even something for those family members who prefer to skip a day at the parks too! Although, it might be an idea to ensure anyone left back at the Resort can
Unlock their Resort Room Door with the My Disney Experience App, or hold one of the complimentary Key to the World Cards to gain room access.
One of my family members suffers from Chronic Fatigue Syndrome which sometimes means she's found it necessary to take a break from visiting the Theme Parks during our Disney vacations by staying in, or close by to our Resort hotel. During her Disney-days-off, she often spent time relaxing by the Resort pool, or exploring the Resort with a gentle stroll, or better still, by partaking in a little retail therapy in the
Resort stores! There's also great pleasure to be found by simply sitting in the Resort Lobby with a book and a take-out coffee. Other in-Resort ideas are to visit the
Lobby Concierge to enquire about any Resort Guest activities that may be taking place or, if the Resort has one, to visit the
Spa or Fitness Suite.
And don't forget, if you're feeling adventurous for activities outside of the Resort, there's a plethora of shopping, dining, and sightseeing to be found at
Disney Springs!
With so many
Things to Do in Orlando at Walt Disney World Resort, I feel quite sure that you'll need some pixie-dusted magic to find the time to fit it all in!
Have a great Disney day ~ Jane
