    We’re staying on property one day before we plan to use our 4-day park hopper passes to enter parks. Got the meal plan . Q: Can we use our meal plan as soon as we land? Or does it not “activate” until we enter a park? TIA!

    Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! 

    I'm thrilled to share that your Disney Dining Plan credits will be available to you from the moment you check-in at your Disney Resort hotel. You will be able to use them as soon as you check-in, even if your room is not ready yet. Many Disney Resort hotels have fantastic dining options, so I'm sure you'll find a few excellent meals around! 

    Disney's Art of Animation Resort, for example, has one of the best food courts I've ever seen: Landscape of Flavors. Disney's Polynesian Village Resort also offers excellent food options at Kona Cafe and Capt. Cook's. If you start researching menus, you will actually think of extending your trip to stay a few days more!
