Hi there, Margaret!
I’m so glad you stopped by planDisney! It’s always a treat to assist one of Mickey’s Floridian neighbors, but this time it’s especially fun because you asked about one of my very favorite topics: meeting Chip ’n’ Dale!
This duo of rascally chipmunks is always up to make some mischief, so saying hello never disappoints! Personally, I’m partial to their current Chipmunk-O-Saurus ensembles in Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park, but I’m also a regular visitor to their meet and greets in Magic Kingdom Park and Disney’s Hollywood Studios as well as Chip ’n’ Dale’s Harvest Feast at
Garden Grill Restaurant in EPCOT. As NUTTY as I am about these two, Margaret, can you believe that I have never attended
Chip 'n' Dale's Campfire Sing-A-Long at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground? Although I’ve yet to check this item off of my Walt Disney World Resort bucket list, it has long been on my list of magical must-do’s, so I am happy to walk you through the details!
Happily, Chip ’n’ Dale are welcoming hosts who firmly believe the
s’more the merrier, so this fun, interactive character experience is available for all Walt Disney World Resort Guests, not just those staying at Disney Resorts Collection hotels! You’ll find the daily schedule conveniently listed on the Walt Disney World Resort website, and because this particular experience does not accept reservations, I suggest arriving a bit earlier than the start time listed. Since you won’t be a Guest of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground when you attend, you'll also need to factor in time for transportation when planning your evening. It's important to note that if you are planning to utilize Walt Disney World Resort's
complimentary transportation this will include traveling to a theme park before making your way to Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort. Of course, if you have a vehicle with you, you're also welcome to drive to Fort Wilderness where parking for campfire Guests is complimentary!
Don’t forget that snacks are available for purchase during the sing-a-long, so be sure to come hungry!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
