Hiya Pamela! Welcome to planDisney. We’re so happy you stopped by with such a great question!
I'm so glad to hear that you will be visiting
Walt Disney World Resort soon and that you're staying at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel! What a fabulous way to immerse yourself in the magic from the very moment you arrive! No matter what resort you have chosen, it's bound to be an incredible experience, with special Disney touches at every corner!
Speaking of which, I absolutely love “resort hopping” to check out all that the
Disney Resorts Collection hotels have to offer. I mean, where else can you go from viewing
Giraffes roaming a savannah to strolling around a
turn-of-the-century Atlantic City-style boardwalk all within one vacation destination? So, I am happy to share that you can definitely visit the different resorts, even without an Advanced Dining Reservation! Now, if you do decide to hop around a bit to check out a few spots, I’d recommend using the free
resort transportation to get around. However, there is currently no bus transportation provided between individual resorts, so you’ll likely need to transfer at one of the theme parks or
Disney Springs. Alternatively, you can use a rideshare service, like Lyft, to get around. I find it to be reasonably priced and often the fastest way to move between resorts.
There are so many fantastic Disney Resorts Collection hotels, each with its unique theme and fabulous amenities! So, to help you narrow down the list of resorts you plan to explore, I think you will love the helpful
Pocket Guides put together by our extraordinary planDisney team members. These nifty little guides give you an overview of the resorts, their amenities, dining options and more! As you explore the resorts, be sure to keep an eye out for those sneaky hidden Mickeys! You can even make a fun game out of it with your family and see who can find the most throughout your vacation. Whoever wins gets a special souvenir!
I hope you found this answer helpful! As you continue to plan for your visit, know that we are here to help you make the most of your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. So, please visit us again with any questions you may have.
Bye for now!
