If I am staying on property in a Disneyland hotel (grand cal) when does my window for dining reservations open.

    Hello William,

Welcome to planDisney! Thank you for submitting your question to us!

Disney’s Grand Californian Hotel & Spa is a wonderful resort! I enjoy the amenities of staying on the property, such as early entry on select dates, on-site character dining at Storytellers Cafe, and the proximity to both parks and the Downtown Disney District! You’re sure to have an amazing stay!

Guests can book advanced dining reservations up to 60 days from the first date of their visit. Guests can make reservation selections through their Disney account on the Disneyland Resort website or the Disneyland Mobile App. Reservations are limited, so guests are encouraged to book early in the morning when reservations are first available for the best chance at securing your desired reservation time!

Tip from Tiffany: Select restaurants may not have availability 60 days before your visit, but that does not mean you shouldn’t keep trying! There are instances when guests will cancel their reservations, and if you are logged in, you can snag the canceled reservation then! Some restaurants (such as Carnation Cafe and Lamplight Lounge) have Dining Walk-Up Lists, where guests in the parks can join a waitlist through the mobile app early in the morning for a possible same-day dining time! Walk-ups are limited and can fill very quickly, so I recommend you immediately head to your desired restaurant after the park opening to join the list!

If you have further questions regarding the Disneyland Resort, remember - you’ve got a friend in me!
