Hiya Patti,
Welcome to planDisney! Staying at a Walt Disney World Resort Collection Hotel is a real treat! I love the proximity to the Theme Parks, the
incredible perks, and of course, feeling like I'm in the middle of a fairytale. I hope that you have the most magical vacation on earth!
As a mom of a little one, I know firsthand that your vacation is a little different when you have a Mouseketeer along for the adventure. Being able to have a little adult-only dining experience or just watching the Nighttime Spectaculars without having to keep an eye on a tiny one is a vacation within itself. While I have not personally utilized babysitting services at Walt Disney World Resort (and Walt Disney World Resort itself does not offer official services), I can share with you some options for a kid-free evening.
Depending on the age of your Mouseketeers, you can look into having them looked after at either the
Children's Activity Center – Camp Dolphin or in your room through Kid's Nite Out. If your child is a little older, Camp Dolphin is a fantastic and fun club located at the Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel. Guests can drop kids ages 5-12 at Camp Dolphin from 4-11 pm for fun supervised arts, crafts, games, food, and other themed activities. This is perfect if your plan includes dinner and fireworks at
EPCOT or
Disney's Hollywood Studios because Walt Disney World Dolphin Hotel is an easy walk from both of those Theme Parks! Kid's Nite Out is an excellent alternative if your Baby Mine is younger than five (and at least six months old) than the other option. They offer in-room sitter options straight to your resort hotel room! A sitter will bring age-appropriate toys, books, and games; they can even help get your little ones off to sleep. If this option is what you are looking for, I suggest calling them as soon as possible. Advanced reservations are strongly recommended for Kid's Nite Out.
Hopefully, this was helpful, Patti. If there is anything else, we can help you with, come back and see us!
Happy Planning,
Ashley F.
