We are staying on property for 7 days. We are flying and My son is 5, but tires easily. I am debating on the Stroller Rental (a friend sent me a link for this, they deliver it to your room($60)). Or just buying a $50 umbrella type stroller?

    Hello Maggi!

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

My daughter is 6-years-old and we always rent a stroller when visiting the Walt Disney World Resort. She also tires easily, and we have found out that it is simply not possible for our family to tour the theme parks without a stroller. She really needs to rest during the day, and that guarantees that we have a stress-free vacation. We recently traveled to another country, and decided to leave our stroller at home. It was a terrible decision. We always had to go back to our hotel earlier because our little one was too tired to even go out to dinner.

I really recommend renting a stroller from one of Disney Featured Providers so you can use it anytime throughout the Walt Disney World Resort. You will be able to rent a stroller that will accommodate your son’s height and weight, and this way he will be comfortable in case he needs to take a nap, for example. I think that those simple umbrella strollers are not convenient or comfortable, because they do not recline. Weight limit can also be an issue. Disney Featured Providers will conveniently deliver your stroller to Bell Services at your Disney Resort hotel, and pick it up for you at the end of your visit. They usually come with a rain cover and even a cooler.

I hope this helps you while planning, Maggi. Please stop by the Disney Parks Moms Panel real soon with more questions so that we can help you plan unforgettable memories.

    Best magical wishes,
    Thiana
