Hey there, hi there, Annette! You're as welcome as can be here at planDisney! I'm so glad to see you here with such great questions. I absolutely love chatting about the Disney Resort Hotels with my pals, pal!
Since you have chosen such a fantastic Disney Resort Hotel, it sounds as if your planning is off to a practically perfect start.
Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort is one of my very favorite Disney Resorts. With its laid-back island vibes, fantastic
dining options (
Banana Cabana is one of my favorite spots in all of Walt Disney World Resort), oh-so-fun
pools and location near
two convenient Skyliner stations, it's the perfect home away from home right in the middle of the magic. I'm more than happy to answer your questions and help you plan your magical adventure!
Since you have a Preferred Room booked, your room will be located in either the Martinique or Barbados villages of the Resort. You will love being so close to Old Port Royale and the Fuentes Del Porro Pool area for convenient dining, shopping and playing.
Speaking of convenience, one thing that I love about Caribbean Beach Resort is that it is located on the main hub of the
Disney Skyliner and within walking distance of two Skyliner stations. Your walk to the Skyliner stations will vary depending on your room's location. The Martinique village is close to Disney's Riviera Resort, and the walk to the Riviera Skyliner station is approximately five to ten minutes, depending on your room's location and walking speed. If your room is located in the Barbados village, the walk to the Riviera Skyliner station will likely take 10-15 minutes, and I recommend crossing Barefoot Bay at the Caribbean Cay Playground and walking along the Aruba village to get to the Riviera Skyliner station. However, if your room is in the Barbados village, you will be much closer to the Caribbean Beach Skyliner station than the Riviera station.
Since your Resort is on the hub of the Skyliner, you can easily hop a Skyliner to either EPCOT or Disney's Hollywood Studios right from the Caribbean Beach station. If you are headed to Hollywood Studios, board the Skyliner at the Caribbean Beach station. Hop on the Skyliner at the Riviera Resort station for a fast and easy five-minute journey to EPCOT, but you can also board a Skyliner to EPCOT from Caribbean Beach if that station is closer to your room. Now, you should be all set, Annette! Let the magic begin!
I hope this was helpful, Annette, and I hope you have the most magical and memorable upcoming Walt Disney World Resort holiday! Please stop by any time with any questions you may have along the way. You've got a friend in me!
See ya real soon,
Mandy
