we're staying at a preferred room in the Caribbean beach. my husband is 55 and I'm coming up to 54. want a room closest to the main lobby, booking preferred room, its going to be Martinique or Trinidad but whats closest to main lobby and pool?

    Hi Gavin,

I am very excited to hear you will be staying at Disney's Caribbean Beach Resort on your magical adventure.  It is truly one of my family's favorite resorts.  You will love the tropical theme and relaxing steel drum music.  You can't help but feel like you are actually in the Caribbean!

We love how big the resort feels for the sake of privacy, but the preferred rooms are a great option.  My favorite building is Martinique 25.  Most rooms in this building offer a beautiful view of the courtyard or of Barefoot Bay and its proximity to Old Port Royale and the Fuentes del Morro Pool are perfect.

I hope you enjoy the Caribbean Beach Resort as much as I do.  If you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know. We are here to help!

    Have a wonderful vacation.

    Magical Wishes,

    Lauren
