We are staying at Port Orleans-Riverside this Spring with three teens, that means there are 5 of us. I tried to book the Royal Rooms, but they seem to be unavailable. Is there a way to do this? If not, what is they best option to request for a room? THX

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Lorin.

Your choice of accommodations is perfect! Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- Riverside immerses you in the in the splendor of the rural South where the resort is divided into “parishes”, one being surrounded by majestic white-column mansions of Magnolia Bend and the second being the adorable backwoods cottages of Alligator Bayou.

Travel parties of 5 can only be accommodated in Alligator Bayou it’s the only section containing additional fold-down beds. The Royal Rooms in Magnolia Bend only accommodate 4 Guests. The best way to get into a Royal Room would be to book two adjoining rooms, making sure a person aged 18+ is in each of the two rooms. I recommend calling to secure this type of Disney Resort hotel reservation (407) 939-7785 and speaking to a Cast Member about your specific needs.

    Tips:

    Magical memories await!
