    Hello! We are staying at Port Orleans-French Quarter for the first time the end of September! They have us down for a Garden View Room--can you tell me where they are located and if we should ask for any certain building? Were they all recently re-done?

     Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Denise. We're so happy to help you plan another magical visit to the Walt Disney World Resort!

     I just adore Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. With cobblestone streets, gas-lit lamps, wrought-iron balconies, and the soothing sounds of jazz music floating through the air, this Resort hotel is oozing Southern charm! There are seven buildings on the grounds of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter, and each features Garden View Rooms. The good news is, the footprint of this resort hotel is quite small, so no matter what building you stay in, you're close to the pool, transportation, and dining! That said, I'm particularly fond of Buildings One, Two, Five, and Six as they are situated along the peaceful banks of the Sassagoula River. You'll be pleased to know that with the exception of Building Seven, renovations are complete and ready for Guests to enjoy!

     Be sure to plan a visit to Disney Springs - it's just a convenient ferryboat ride away from Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter. Disney Springs is a must-visit for my family during our Walt Disney World Resort vacations. With incredible shops and fabulous restaurants, what's not to love?
