    Staying at Port Orleans Riveside in a garden view room with the pull form Murphy bed. Which building should we request? what is closest to dining or is there a particularly pretty area? Thanks!

    Hi Kindra!

    There is indeed a particularly pretty area of Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside ... the whole resort! You just can't go wrong with this property as you'll be surrounded by lush greenery, gardens and water no matter which way you turn! I absolutely love it there - definitely my favourite resort in the 'moderate' resort category!

    For an ideal garden view room location in the Alligator Bayou Section of the resort, there are a few different options to consider:

    If being closest to transportation is of key importance to you, consider requesting Building 34 or 37. If you'd like to have the shortest walk to the Lobby, Food Court and shopping, your best bet would be Building 38 (by means of the foot bridge to Ol' Man Island and then across to the main building) or Building 17 or 26.

    For a pretty view without concern for distances, Buildings 26 and 39 are serenely located in the center of Alligator Bayou.

    In order to check off all of your 'must haves' on the list, you may wish to consider upgrading to a Preferred Location room. Optimal locations in this category would be Building 14 or 18. 

    To place your 'request' on file, speak to a Cast Member by calling (407) 939-7675. Have your Resort Confirmation number handy at the time of your call. Do keep in mind that requests cannot be guaranteed, however Cast Members will do their best to ensure your desires are taken into consideration based on availability at the time of your room assignment.
