Hello! We are staying at Port Orleans Riverside and I was wondering how long the boat ride is to Disney springs? Should we take the boat or just drive? This is for dinner on our arrival day. Thank you!

Congratulations on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation to Disney’s Port Orleans Resort - Riverside! It is a beautiful property, so you have made an excellent choice as to where you should enjoy your stay.

I would recommend using the Disney Water Transportation so that you can enjoy the peaceful journey to Disney Springs your first evening on property. Once you board the ferryboat, it may take around 15 minutes to arrive at your destination, but be sure to give yourself enough time to leave your room and arrive at your restaurant before the reservation begins. Of course, if the weather is not cooperating, then driving to Disney Springs is the next best thing.
