Hi Courtney,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, and thank you for your question. I also have a visit to Walt Disney World THIS MONTH and I know just how excited you are for your magical vacation!
Your friendly Disney Parks Moms Panelists did a resort tour last year, and I vividly remember being at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside and being SO THIRSTY. Let’s just say we enjoyed a
lot of Mickey waffles and bacon for breakfast, and we were
parched. We visited the resort gift shop for some bottled water, and I remember all of us chugging that water while laughing so hard at how thirsty we were.
Besides how funny it was, what my pal Ashley P. remembers about that morning was that there were not full cases of water sold in
Fulton’s General Store at that time; there were the smaller 6-packs as well as larger single bottles, but no full cases. In my experience, the availability of full cases of water at Walt Disney World Resort shops is unpredictable. I have seen them, but I wouldn’t count on them being there.
I recommend
ordering a case of water from a grocery delivery service like Garden Grocer. That way, you can be absolutely sure you get the selection you want, with the added convenience of having Bell Services bring it right to your room (be sure to have cash on hand for a tip).
Have an amazing time at Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside, Courtney. Be sure to check in at the front desk about resort activities, because this resort – and its sister resort, French Quarter – always has so many fun recreation options. Enjoy!
Wishing you a magical - and hydrated! - vacation,
Robyn
